My 05 Ford Focus 2.0s engine and steering has been locking up

My 05 Ford Focus 2.0s engine and steering has been locking up in the rain twice since It started , it got me home and when the rain stopped for a few days last week it started working fine again, today I noticed a small amount of oil leaking from the bottom of the engine case even though my engine light isn't on, I've had all my friends look at it and they can't help me diagnose it plzzz help us some one I can't afford to miss any work and I'll be spending half my earnings on lyft this week, I want my car in perfect shape anyways my family depends on it
