Sorry m8 but not, changing those mufflers are too expensive for the manufacturer. I recommend getting it to the nearest auto shop and ask for a replacement. It can cost you 6000$ but it will be worth it.

I drove a 2017 STI last year. Spooky throttle response and the gearing is absurdly short. How long does it take to get used to that?

I've never got used to it. I've driven manual since I could drive, and had this car since Feb, and I still can't consistently shift from 1st to 2nd smoothly.

The one I drove was in sport mode and as soon as I looked at the gas pedal I was bouncing off the rev limiter. Plus the turbo seemed to really come on hard.

I know Flowmasters use fiberglass packing, and it burns out over time. Spintech uses steel wool as packing, and doesnt burn out as fast.

It's bad for highway driving. Cars with short gear ratios require you to keep the engine revving faster at highway speeds.

My Miata would be turning about 4000-4500 at 85mph in top gear. Made it noisy as hell and lousy on mileage. My Mustang has a stupidly high 5th gear and it'll cruise at about 1500 rpm at the same speed.
