What is the single best two door Japanese car of the 1990s, taking into account primarily comfort, luxury, gadgets and tech, secondarily reliability and performance, and not taking into account price?
Eunos Cosmo, hands down.
For those available in the west in my eyes it's a three way tie between the Nissan Z32, Mitsubishi/Dodge 3000GT/Stealth and Lexus SC300/400 depending on which features you prioritize. The Lexus has the best interior of those, but the others have more interesting bodystyles (T-top and hard top convertible respectively) and sophisticated four wheel drive and four wheel steering trickery.

its a 3 rotor auto only mafia gangster car that mazda sold under its "luxury" brand named eunos. I don't know how reliable it is because rotors but I'm sure if you do do proper maintenance it can last as long as any other car.

Luxury Japanese 90s? Cosmo is king.
Supra with a couple of simple mods.
It was never answered in the 90s and it won't be answered now

Would argue that the JZZ30 with the 1JZ is more reliable
