Hey /o/, my coolant is rusty as shit. Engine is 4AGE. People use as sorts of stuff like vinegar and dishsoap to flush the system with, but I read that there are risks with using vinegar for example. What is a good reliable way to flush the system without having to buy expensive radiator cleaners? The thing with rust is that one flush doesn't get it all out, no matter how thorough it is.

I did this to my 3S-GTE and it has never been cleaner.

Do multiple passes, it's not like coolant is expensive.

Nice job replying to the wrong guy retard
Chrisfix may sound annoying, but he knows what he is doing.

Nice job misinterpreting my reaction retard.
I fucking love Chrisfix, everytime I hear him say those famous words I get a massive erection. This guy is so full of energy it's contagious. I admire him for his extreme attention to detail and enthousiasm. He deserves his spot as one of the most well-known automotive instructional video producers. So yes, I replied to the wrong faggot. I had to acknowledge that Chrisfix-laden post as quickly as my fucking body would allow me to. Fuck you.

Prestone radiator cleaner is dirt cheap, like two bucks for a bottle which should be plenty for a tiny 4AGE.
Do it like chris fix but know that you may need more than one bottle after the first flush. I had to do six flushes with the shit to get my Ranger's radiator to start looking half decent again.
With the amount of money I spent on flushing it all those times, I should have just bought a new aluminum radiator, and then done one more flush to get the shit out of the engine
