What kind of mufflers should I put on my 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo LS. 3.4L Chevy LA1 engine in it.
My plan is to remove the resonator (rusted out) and do a U-Bend delete (pic related)
Eventually I'm gonna go dual exhaust but every Flowmaster build I've seen on Youtube (mostly Super 40s/44s) sound really raspy. Is there a make/model of mufflers I can put on that won't be too raspy and be more deeper/throatier?
I use Dynomax bullets on my 6.0 GTO. Cant speak for how it will sounds on your car but on mine it sounds great and they cost very little.

>dynomax bullets
lol

Why lol? They are about the cheapest muffler on the market and are loud to boot.

I don't want something thats just "loud". I want something that sounds good on a v6 without putting headers on it.

Well it was just a suggestion. IMO glasspacks sound good on pretty much everything so what "sounds good" is up to your opinion really.

you use mufflers? if you wanted loud youd just take the off like every other 6.0 silverado

Legal issues prevent me from doing that. Sadly trucks are the only ones who get a free pass on open header setups in my area.

man dont worry about brand, that shit is just capitalist swill, weld a straight pipe back from cat and be done with it, embrace the true sound of you engine

The 40 Deltaflows might be less tinny. Maybe even the 50 Series. More baffles, less resonance? idk much about mufflers but simple physics would seem to dictate as such.
