how the fuck do i stop this little shit from automatically turning off. i don't like the turn signal shutting off when i straighten the car out at a light
If it's an American car just use it for about a week.
I think theres 2 springs in the steering column that can be removed to prevent it from shutting off

i do this at higher speeds, but its not feasible at low speeds (no power steering)

stop being a lil bitch and turn harder
The only way is to remove the mechanism repsonsible for it, here's a picture from when I replaced my steering wheel.

thanks. i assume the white plastic is the mechanism?

I think a better question is why do you need to constantly straighten out your car when you're at a light? I think you should work on that before tinkering with your steering column.

Not him, but I like to straighten out unless I can smoothly turn into the curve. This is more or so for a stop sign and less than a light.
If it comes off hit it again. Add some spice in your life

This, what kind of fucking autism do you have, OP?
Only motorcycles should have indicators that don't self-cancel.

>white plastic
Part of it. I think there's a little tab or pin on the back of the steering wheel. When you push the turn signal lever, it moves the while plastic lever. When you straighten the wheel out, it catches the white plastic thing and moves it to the off position. You need the white plastic thing, but the pin on the steering wheel has to come off.
