Is this the perfect weekend car?

2007 F430 Spyder with a 6-speed gated manual. Bonus, it's not red.
>old Ferrari
no
>>17773040
Have fun with maintenance
>>17773042
>>17773051
>weekend car
we're talking under 5000 miles a year
>non red ferrari
no
No lol
>>17773056
Hmm, you might be okay but any maintenance you need will be egregiously expensive. The oil changes alone are $500 minimum.
I think you'd be better off with a porsche but I prefer how the ferrari looks. Just trying to save you from wallet-rape here but if you can handle it then by all means go for it.
>>17773040
If you can afford it, I don't see why not. The market for these are pretty good right now and you should not lose too much money if you decide to resell in a few years. If you are lucky you might make a few dollars.
Don't let all the poorfags living at their moms house tell you differently.
The most expensive maintenance on those are would be the brakes (you should look into this) but oil and tires are not too bad.
>>17773056
still dont think its anywhere near the "perfect" weekend car I wasnt even thinking about maintenance
not old enough to be cool
just old enough to be a headache
but now that you mention it youll probably spend half of what you paid for the car in maintenance over the next few years if not more
but different folks different strokes for the money Id just go with this
>>17773104
Why do you act like you know what you are talking about?
In a few years, he might spend 10-15k on maintenance on one of these if the car has been kept up with.
>>17773131
10-15k within 3 years maybe
assuming everything was recently rebuilt
assuming nothing goes wrong
>>17773131
>he might spend 10-15k on maintenance on one of these if the car has been kept up with.
>he might spend enough to buy a new car if everything goes perfectly right
You were supporting his argument?
>>17773040
If it's what you want and you have the money, go for it. There's more to life than impressing random fags on /o/
>>17773104
The mondial was one of the worst ferraris of all time
>>17773152
Wait wait what costs 10 to 15k in maintenance?
>>17773543
The car in OP pic if you're very lucky
>>17773543
that car has 7.5k miles so hes going to be getting into the big service costs if he drives 5k a year for a couple years
$7,000 for a full brake service if needed
$6,500 clutch replacement at 15k
$3,000 tires at 12k
$1,000 for fluids every year (unless done yourself)
then I dunno $500 for shit like alignments and small stuff
>>17773615
Your numbers are off a bit.
Brake service isn't $7,000. Even their service center doesn't charge that much.
Same for clutch, your number is way too high.
Tires are more like $2,000, not $3,000.
Fluids are done with annual servicing, which you can spend anywhere from $1300-$1,600 for.

Color scheme kind of sucks imo, and I'd take a coupe, but the six speed and low mileage are crucial.
Did you ask what they want?
I'd guess close to $200K. Maybe $185,000.

Im going by based on what I found posted by someone who owns a F430
>>17774215
Yet you speak like you're a grand authority on the subject. Benchrace harder you fag.
>>17773615
unless he's talking about new rotors
>>17774227
lol
Im sure some anon knows everything
newfags cant even use benchracing properly
goddamn /o/ is in a pathetic state these days
>>17774215
>what I found posted
Not on this board, I hope.
As far as I know, there's only one actual owner here. Unless you count the dude who "used to own a Mondial".
>>17774323
there are multiple Ferrari message boards yknow
different places are going to charge different prices
Ive seen a clutch job be anywhere from $5000-$10000
>>17774349
>multiple boards
Do you suppose that's why I specified "this board"?
>clutch job be anywhere from $5000-$10000
If your mechanic is ripping you off, sure.
No one is going to charge more than a Ferrari service center.
What owner in their right mind would pay more than the dealer's price?
>>17773040
Yeah. But keep in mind Billy Boomer in his $60k Stingray would walk you from the lights or on a track.
>>17774366
lol the $10000 was at a Maserati center (not in the US tho) and $6500 at a Ferrari one
the $5400 didnt include the flywheel and was also at a Ferrari center
>>17774389
like fuck he would.
>>17774391
>Maserati center
These merged with Ferrari, you know.
