Check all of your engine grounds man, I have a 1996 Tacoma that had all of the symptoms that you described between this and your last thread, it ended up killing the alternator so that had to be replaced, but the issue turned out to be a bad ground bolt on the engine block and potentially a loose/bad connection at splice joint on the battery cable, also make SURE your battery connections are spotless, as just about any loose connection would have the same symptoms.

I was concerned about mine until I installed a ham radio that displays the volts when turned on. the volt meter showed sub 12 while the radio said 14.1. My volt meter is jacked up.

Have you tried a different voltmeter OP? It's worth double checking
