What's the best muscle car for cheap(ish)? Gotta be something I can get for cheap with only cosmetic damage, I can't into mechanics.

Surely one can't be so mechanically disinclined as to not know how to work on some of the simplest straight forward machines ever built?
>>17772228
I could probably learn on the go, I have friends who could help me. I just currently have no knowledge of mechanics.
>>17772211
Plymouth Dusters or something else relatively unknown.

>Plymouth Dusters
this is the only plymouth I could find, should metion i'm an ausfag
>>17772211
>cosmetic damage
Is harder to fix than mechanical.
>>17772266
I just mean minor stuff like chipped paint or whatever, stuff that doesn't need urgent work
Do F-bodies count here?
If so, one of those. If not, you could probably find a clapped-out A-body for not too much.

Ausfag eh? You're gonna be looking at the Falcodore range then m8. Honestly, there are way worse things you could invest in, especially with the parts availability we have for them here.
Why a muscle car though?
If Mustangs count, get a 94-95 or 99-04 GT
Imo ideally a 94-95.
Old 5.0 is incredibly easy to work on and huge budget friendly aftermarket. Great way to learn. Is super reliable in stock form as well.
8.8 rear end that will hold under anything you'd probably put it through.
Only thing you'd really have to worry about is the T5 trans and even they are pretty stout long as you arent flat foot shifting gorilla slammin every gear all the time.
Anyways they're what I think is the cheapest V8 "muscle/pony" car to get into that will be reliable and fun.
My personal prefence would be 80s turd gen fbodies, or old 60-70 mopars or GM but you're all talking about cars there that will likely need work that you're not willing to do. Decent ones will not be cheap.

>Silverado in background
Are you sure you're an australian?
>>17772258
>ausfag
Good fucking luck, from what I've seen muscle cars are impossible to get there.
>>17772559
Also note the American style handicapped parking parking space. Still, OP could be gayer.
>>17772211
>i cant into mechanics
Prepare to suffer
>>17772708
>implying an old muscle car isnt the best damn thing a fella could ask for to learn how to work on cars

4-door GM A-body
>cavernous engine bay
>powerglide can be modded for racing easily
>massive aftermarket, esp. if chevy
>less boomer tax cuz 4 door
>look cool, esp if you can find a sport sedan
>big ten bolt rears available
>every problem you could conceivably have has been had before and is solved on the internet
>super easy to mod suspension
>easy electrical system
I've done a ton of work to mine, including engine swap, and my only mechanic training is watching Roadkill.
