You want to pick it up as a second car right? you aren't DD'ing it in the winter and will keep it in your garage right?

OP I live in the Wayne/Detroit Metro area, and I feel you on this. Many cars have gotten bit but rust pretty badly around here, and unfortunately, there isn't always a good picking until winter/early spring.

I've been looking into the Toledo/Columbus/Fort wayne areas lately, and buying something from a less rust prone area.

Have you considered this?
