Does a Saab drive any differently from any other FWD car?
I read about that being the case but on paper it seems no different from a Volvo.
that saab does drive differently than most FWD cars. Its still pull vs push, but it feels more connected. The FWD layout was not chosen for cost, it was chosen for traction, it was not a compromise but intended. It has a very nice front suspension, double wishbones, the rear while weird is also well sorted. The transmission will assplode though
In terms of FWD cars and handling, I say it is only second to an integra type r.
The 9-3 og, and 9-5 drives like a well sorted FWD car, but the original 900,99 do have a different feel.
The 9000 is also quite well sorted, but feels like an alfa.. as fiat did do alot of the chassis engineering.
