These people have never heard of adult animation in their lifes that wasn't stuff like Family Guy, it was completely alien to them. The show doesn't actually have the tact to even begin to offer an interesting presentation and discussion of any philosophy, so it spouts these edgy teenage catchphrases. Nevermind the bean-headed, noodle-limbed unexpressive character design, or how the story is non-existent and only comes up when the writers beg you to feel something for these characters so devoid of substance, or how the entire show is a trendy forgettable scenario of the week memefest with just enough sci-fi references to trick kids into thinking they are smart for understanding them, or how the characters have somehow been reduced to even more obnoxious caricatures than before, none of these things matter. What matters is that it appeals to the millenial redditor audience, and that's what's selling Rick and Morty.

Otherwise, the frames can rust badly; that's the only real nightmare area. Aside from that, they're pretty decent handling cars and real easy to work on.

Honestly, about 90% of its problems can be fixed in an afternoon. Swapping from fuel injection to a carburetor added about 50 HP; couple that with a better exhaust and you're in acceptable territory. Personally, I'm working on a turbo setup for mine. I've got the exhaust done and, while I need to rebuild the turbo itself, I'm basing it on the setup in the Grand National.

I have an $8k pump and a continuous glucose monitor... But they fucking suck. It costs hundreds each month in parts to run, no matter how well you calibrate the CGM it may be off by 200-300 (and considering my target level is 110, that's unacceptable), it hurts like a motherfucker to put the injection tube in, and you've got to carry around this pager thing that gets its wires stuck on doorknobs and shit, pulling the injection tube right out of you. I also would tell the thing to give myself insulin over and over again and my blood sugar wouldn't go down. I didn't have any occlusions and I inserted it all right, but it never worked well for me.

I used it for 3 months and my whole stomach was bruised purple from inserting those fucking things. Fuck that shit so hard. Now I have an $8k pos that is illegal to sell to someone else.

I find injections to be much less painful, more accurate, more effective, more convenient, and most importantly - much cheaper... Now I only have one or two bruises at a time on my stomach.

yeah I kinda agree. I've been on a pump for something like 10 years now, a medtronic. Tried the CGM and hated that shit so much, it was so unreliable and hard to maintain. Do you calculate bolus with a chart? That's how I remember doing it but I was like 7 at the time. I want to try going back because of how much scar tissue and pain the sites cause. Maybe I'll talk to my doctor about it at my appt next week because I'm pretty sick of the pump too now that you point all that stuff out lol

Nah, I just know the ratios and durations in my head. I just eyeball it with my carb intake, fingerstick readings, how I feel, and level of activity. I am absolutely terrified of lows so I'm usually pretty conservative w/ my doses. I get a1c's in the mid- to upper-6's though so I must be doing okay... My a1c was 12.8 when I was diagnosed lol.

I daily an 07 530i, I don't think it's pigfat personally, with the muffler deleted the car weighs 3.4k which is great for a sedan. Sitting on hankook ventus s1 noble tires as well so it handles beautifully.
