Hey /o/reos, reasons to buy or not buy a 2007 Ford Five Hundred/ Mercury Montego?
They are ~ $3500 in my country with less than 90k miles.
I want a big car but not a v8, this car seems fine and reviews says its ok.

it is ok. buy it cuz you don;t care about the car.

I was wondering the same thing the transmission is an early domestic cvt so I would steer clear anon

Damn, any alternatives?
I also like the Peugeot 407 from around 2004 (which is about the same price) but people tell me to stay away from French engineering.
I don't understand the used value of some cars desu, a fucking 2002 Civic or a 2004 Focus have a similar price.
Also, are old Audis expensive to maintain?, from the guide I learned bimmers are so I thought Audis would also be expensive.

They share the same platform as an S80 Volvo
The interior is rather comfy while basic
2008 is the better year to get due to the availability of the 3.5 V6

I don't like the tradeoff, less space, less hp, less everything for about the same money.
