Hey /o/. I've been getting interested in cars recently and I feel like the first place to start is by understanding everything about a car. I know a few details like how different kinds of combustion engines work, but not much more than that. What's the best resource for me to learn about the ins and outs of cars before I go out and get a 3 series to wreck on a country road

Are you in highschool? Check if they offer a vocational program.
If so,take it and actually learn.
By actually learn I mean you may be bored by other classes .
Out of high school? Community college is cheap, however the ease of not showing up is strong.(if you live with your parents they will love your desire to not be lazy and you may get one more year rent free)

I don't really want to pay my school to teach me about something that I don't need certification to do. Learning about cars in school feels like a waste of money
