Hey /o/, this might sound like a retarded question but can someone explain to me how power production relates to gearing? The reason I ask is because I have noticed that stock cars when compared with their significantly faster/modified counterparts pretty much have the same gearing and top speeds for each gears up until like the last 2 or 3 gears.
In other words, gears 1-3 all top out at the same even though the modified version has like 3x more hp. So I am just curious how the two work together.
