Is is safe/possible to sand glazed brake pads?
I still have about 6 months left on these.

Sure, why wouldn't it be? Probably want to use something stronger than sand paper though.
They aren't even expensive though.

I still want to save $60 on Power Stops.
Dont be so fucking cheap, get new pads anon. Dont fucking sand them. I dont care if you make $10 an hour or $10 a day, get new pads

I already replaced my brakes pads; I was hoping I could still save these for future use. I may or may not be able to get new brake pads next year.
>all these idiots ITT
They will be fine OP I'd use a wire brush or grinder though, really agitate the surface.
More importantly why are they becoming glazed? do you wash the pad dust out of your rotors when you wash your car or is dust building up and causing the glazing? Are your rotors shitty quality? are you gently applying your brakes for a really long time making the rotors heat up?

I don't remember what rotors I got, but they're most likely Durashit.
I usually get Power Stop ceramic pads from CarID.
I've sanded pads with 80 grit sandpaper, works fine.
