I bought a used truck 6 months ago, and didn't realize it was out of alignment so I've been creating some considerable edge wear on my Toyo MT2 all terrain tires 295/55/r20.
The back 2 are fine, the front 2 are getting sketchy. But these are $300 each tires (new). I found a good deal on some Falken (under rated brand) 275/60/r20's for $159 each. But I don't want to have to buy 4 tires when the back 2 are fine.
What should I do?
Option 1) Buy 4 Falkens and keep my old tires as backups but we all know they're just gonna collect dust.
Option 2) Buy 2 Falkens but have a mismatch in size between front and back,
Option 3) ???
>big ass expensive bro truck wheel/tire setup
>cant afford the tread wear
might as well go back to the stockers faggot
>different sized tires
>4x4 truck
not an option
Option 3 could be to only consider tires that match my current size for the front 2.
Option 4 could be buy 4 Falkens and sell my current good back 2 tires for half off on Craigslist.

Different size is definitely an option, just keep bigger ones in the back. I guess rotating would be hard though.

I had falkens (sp) 285/75r16 and they still had tread after 70k miles when i sold my truck.

Time to bite your lip, get an alignment, and buy 4 new tires. Maybe sell the two remaining good ones.
Don't cheap out. Tires are cheaper than a new diff, or case

>20in wheels
>offroad
>can't afford 600 bucks for replacement tires
kys.

I guess that's probably the right thing to do. Just wish I could have saved that money.
I've had nothing but issues with this truck for the 6 months I've owned it. Leaking differential, 4wd system issues, squeeking (a constant whack a mole issue). It's all been fixed under warranty but I've had to fight the warranty guys and yell like a madman.
The tires will be the first thing I pay for.

Tirerack and other online tire places have a lot of sales. My friend bought 4x General off-road tires for his Xterra for $400.

I always laugh at you faggots with your jacked up trucks and XDDDD wheels and then you can't afford gas or tires.

Nope $1000 minimum for tires only
