Friend of mine wants to quiet down his exhaust by adding a resonator and a muffler onto his mid pipe.
He asked me which order they should go in, and I didn't really have am answer for him
Anyone here know if there is a difference? And is there a distance they should have between them?

Doesn't matter, the key for quiet exhaust is to do the loop trick. The exhaust will keep passing through the muffler over and over until it is almost silent.
