Trigger warning! I could go either way on the pop ups honestly. As far as I know they used the same rods or same type of rods on the 1.8 and they're the weak point on both engines. That and the oil pump/balancer. I was just reading about weight difference between NA and NB and it's around 300 pounds give or take for trim/accessories. I'd like the car to be around 2200 lbs with me in it but that's gonna be hard either way I think.

Situations happened and now I'm gonna keep that convertible Mustang I was trying to sell. Selling the Hyundai now. It's got cold A/C, 4 new tires, new inspection, all for $600 if someone wants something to flip. Just needs a core support, radiator (currently held together with JB weld and stop-leak), and a good hammering to the hood. Shit is all legal tho.

Yup, it's the one in the background of the pic. 2011 Accent GLS. The radiator requires that you put some more water in every morning if you drive long distances on the freeway (me every day), and I've had to put stop-leak in it every 2 weeks or so. But it runs, is legal, and has cold A/C. $600 will take it. I just don't have the time, space, or know-how to do the core support. 3 of the tires have discount tire warranty on them, too (one got a nail the week after I bought it).

So I'm doing some research on the begi reflash of my ecu the PO had done. I was trying to figure out if I can pull that tune off the ecu and use it as a base for megasquirt. I don't think it's possible. From what I'm reading on their website they only allow tuning in house so they probably have a lock on it. Guess I'll use the stock base map with msm spark and fuel tables.
