I lived with such a GF and moved out after 2 years.

I now live alone with a loaded 3 car garage.

Not gonna lie, there are nights I wish I could go back. Cooking for 1 is a bitch and so is paying the full rent by myself. Travelling alone can present awkward situations too, eaten in a lot of bars on the road.

But for the most part, nah...I do whatever I want whenever I want. Its great. Even if I found a GF who was more flexible I kind of doubt I could ever go back to that kind of life.

Yes this is really happening. Got the bike yesterday and she also got mad when I took picture of it and posted it on my facebook chatgroup which consists of very good friends of mine. She says I bought the bike only to showoff and not for myself.

I treat my girlfriend with a lot of respect, like an equal 99% of the time. But when "crunch time" hits and something needs done, she knows I am the boss.

She told me one time early on on our relationship that I couldn't go somewhere and I replied "What did you just say to me?" and left. I've never had an issue with it again.

No woman wants someone who has no backbone and listens to her. Obviously don't be stupid, but it's your time/money and therefore your choice. Do what you want. Tell her you're buying it because you want it and it will make.you happy, and have the money to spare on it. She might be mad for a day but in the long run she will stop questioning your decisions and will become more attracted to you.
