My girlfriend is thinking of buying a 2013 Chevy Spark for 5k.
I know they're cheap as fuck but are they still as unreliable as the aveo? are they okay or would you avoid them/>
They're not unreliable when grandma-driven. My mum has one, maintained once in a blue moon and it has been running flawlessly for 6 years. 30k miles on the odometer.

They're shitty korean cars. Just get a civic for 3k. post your local craigslist.

anywhere in columbus is good. her max is 5k but has talked about financing

columbus ohio?
columbus nc?
columbus ga?
as long as you don't have to go on the highway much, you're good. merging is horrendous if traffic patterns aren't playing nice.

honestly come up with a little extra and buy a sanic
decent power for its size, cheap, even i as a 6 foot 3 fat ass can sit in the back if needed.
and its not as ugly as the spark
get a new gf

And the sanic use the ecotec instead of using the s-tec(Korean crap)
I rented a 2016 Spark earlier this year. Thing was the weakest, little shit I've ever had to drive. Any minor gust of wind would set you off your course at highway speed.
Just get a Focus or a Civic, honestly.
