If he's thinking of spending that much money on importing one make sure he has a look through Carsales for some other cars too. If he's dead set on a Skyline, if you guys are in Melbourne I actually inspected an imported R32 a few weeks ago that was on Carsales for 10k. It was absolutely gorgeous, and I was planning on swapping the auto trans for a manual but something else came up.

I dunno man, 7.5k redline on an RB20 is kind of brilliant to behold. RB30s have their place though, and yeah they do take turbos nicely.

All the RBs are fucking great engines overall, it's really like everyone gets a great kransky and you have some dickheads outright stating that a kransky with coleslaw is the best, while others are adamant that a kransky with onion is the best. They're all fuckin' great ya knobs, shut up and eat your hotdogs.

And of course it's different again for my RB25DET in my R33. The bigger displacement means you still have enough kick to get you onto boost quickly and you can have fun.
