make targets for yourself. find cool shit on the internet that you want to go see. just drive by it, take a look, snap a picture for a memory and move on. geocaching is also good. if you aren't a fatass and don't mind spending the extra money, being a food snob is also good. camping is great too. shit man, there are all kinds of reasons to drive somewhere, just try harder.
