Because that's kind of what American cars are all about. You buy German and you expect a decent to nice interior, some nice new tech and decent performance. You buy Japanese and you expect a whiny v6/I6 and a 99% chance for it to be shit with a 1% chance of being a god slayer. Buy American and you expect a boat anchor with a massive V8 that decimates the 1/4 but can't turn.
