My dudes, I'm in need of help, you see I am GM ASEP student - basically a paid intern for any GM dealerships. The problem is that I've had no luck with getting hired at any dealerships, is it because I have no shop experience and that I have to be gone two days in a week for school, or am I just having bad luck? Either way I'm wondering if /o/ has any ideas on how to get hired at a dealership.
Isn't that a question for your school?

My school didn't do shit when I asked for help, that's why I'm asking for help here.

You were ripped off
GM ASEP Grad here. The surprising fact of you not getting hired is kind of amazing actually. The biggest thing I could see keeping you from being hired is your driving record, dealerships won't touch people who've got points. I went into my interview at the first dealership and was told it was good I didn't know anything, they were able to teach me their methods. I also got hired right away and am still with the company. Reach out to your professors again, ask for recommendations for what dealerships to try.
