So i currently have an 03 WR450, 82 XL185, and 01 XR100R.
Should i sell 2 and use as down payment on FZ07?
Should i sell all 3 and use as down payment on FZ07?
Should i keep them all and just buy the FZ07?
Lately havent been doing as much dirt riding. But would likely want to keep one for dirt.
The Wr is dual purpose at ths moment but not freeway capable.
Hence wanting the FZ07.
How is the FZ07 at 80mph for LONG distances?

Why do you need 3 dirtbikes? Keep the most reliable, buy wheelie musheen with proceeds.
Or see if they make knobbies in FZ size. Buy a bashplate and treat it like a ujm.

Backed a fucking minivan over my KLX last night in a sleep deprived stupor, rear passenger side tire of the van literally rode up and over the front forks, rear end of the van dropped down onto the handlebars bending half of the floor pan of the trunk upward like 8 inches, drove forward off of the bike grinding it under the rear bumper.

>Not a single broken plastic
>Not a single broken lever
>Not a single broken mirror or turn signal
>Minor scratches on front fender
>Fork alignment thrown out 3 inches

2 sockets, some black spray paint, and half an hour of work later it's good to go.

Damage to KLX = $0
Damage to van = $800+

Fucking hell are dirtbikes ever tough.

My first few oil changes I didn't know I "needed" a crush washer, last change I bought a pack of 20 copper washers online, it was cheap. It might last me a lifetime of oil changes. You can also blowtorch them til they're red and let air cool. They'll be good as new.

Buying this parts bike to support mine for 150 shekels

Is there anything to be careful of when buying disassembled bikes/parts bikes? What about storing things like the engine for later use? Is it necessary for me to re-register it since its out of the dmv system?

Opinions please:

I have a 2007 Ninjette 250, I hated the bike and it was a piece of shit for pretty much the entire time I owned it.
I was stripping it down to sell off in parts and after I took the plastics off I realized it looked infinitely better without them.
Now I'm thinking about making it a dedicated stunt bike.
I read online that with major fork, brake, and gearing changes that it has potential.

What do you guys think about it? Good idea? Bad idea?

I'd be going -1 front and +25 rear, full crash cage, fork upgrade, dirtbike handlebars, and brake upgrade as well.

Honestly it would just be a communal beater stunt bike for my friends and I to practice on.

And no it's not my only bike, I have two others.
>>
>>17699920
Waste of time. You can get a pre beat to shit/stolen/lost title 600 stunter for $2k that would mostly be covered by selling the Ninjette.

So today I ran into an 04ish? ZX10R and an R6 while cruising. The ZX10R guy tried to wave the r6 dude to race from a roll and he wouldn't do it so I pulled up beside him and we were neck and neck all the way to like 120 when we both hit brakes, he may have had a nose on me by the end. Then we get on the interstate and he holds up six fingers so I gear to 6 and of course he blows me away from a roll. Is that really all liter bikes have? I expected to get blown away from 2nd in a dig but my 600rr kept with him all the way through 4th. Is it just because mines a 12 and his is older? Are liter bikes a meme? Unless this guys bike just sucked I can't see the need for that extra high end power sacrificing the weight of a 600.

I have no problems like that with my helmet and yes a better quality helmet generally means quieter/more comfortable and they are all multiple times beyond the safety requirements they need to meet by law.
even the cheapest helmets are sometimes up to 5 times better protection than the laws require them to be, they just normally are not very quiet or comfortable.
In saying that even if a helmet has top marks if it does not fit your head properly it's not going to work, Always try a helmet on before buying it, never buy one by brand name alone but by how well it fits on your head, they are not all the same shape.

My helmet has a clip at the front. Some brands have an out and out lock.
Buying a bell or bilt is a rite of passage. You found out you like riding. Get something decent when the winter sales start to hit.
>>

I'm 26, reason I want the Varadero is because I am 6"4.

Also for anyone who wants to answer its going to be a Fuel Injected one as they have no charges to ride in London which is where I will be using it unfortunately.

It varies, but as rule of thumb you see three big sale drives. One when the "riding season" ends. One appropriate to the garment in question. And a final annually, when the manufacturer releases the "new line."
e.g. Icon has two official discount periods for this DKR suit. Fall and Spring. Vendors start closeouts during mid-winter to clear stock for the "Spring 20** line".

Loosen grip on bars. Let the suspension do its job.
If you're not riding a bike from the 70's, things will even out. If that's ineffective, roll off slowly. You're going too fast for conditions or bike.
t. 250 onna freeway daily. The kind with the parallel lines scored into cheap concrete. I also do mountain passes and metal-grate bridges on occasion.

Kawasaki vn250 is objectively better in every way.
rode both when i was helping my brother choose a cruiser for his first bike.
rebel struggles to get to the speed limit and tops out at like 120kmh so over taking becomes dangerous was my main complaint with it.
vn250 will get to 160km/h though so most overtaking is done easily.
Kawasaki also feels more more stable on the road and feels lighter when at a stand still despite being like 10kg heavier.
>>
>>17700588

Id keep that WR450. It's a cool bike.
Sell the other 2, but I wouldn't get an FZ07. You could probably find an older FZ09 for around the same price of a FZ07
>>
>>17700572
The longest tank slapper I've ever seen was in no prisoners and it was a good 30 seconds of pure wobble.

There was also that guy with the red cruiser who had a gradual tank slapper creep up on him and then grabbed the brakes hard and fucked himself.
>>
>>17700598
Correction: Looks like the Vulcan is a 650. And 2k more expensive.
>>
>>17700598
If not bothering with a 250 why bother with a 500?
vulcan shadow is probably your best option if no stupid laws getting in the way, not like they are overly powerful if anything they are still under powered.

my front end likes to wobble when i shift at speeds of 60+ when im doing a pull at WOT. what would cause this? i just got new tires and it also happened with my old tires. i believe they are balanced. maybe my movements of shifting/clutch/throttle are too violent? so far its nothing scary, but i dont want it to be an actual problem later.

>>17700624
You are holding onto the bars too tight/being pushed against the bars causing them to turn in one direction while the front wheel is slightly off the ground or under load.
try holding onto the bike with your legs more when going full WOT, should fix the problem.
you should only really have a slight grip on the bars, believe it or not they want to stay straight.

death wobble in that webm i posted was from the way i hit those bumps, front wheel came down on the last one awkwardly, so that will do it too, uneven surfaces i mean.

It's not German law, it's coworkers being dicks, the inspector going along with it and WR being a huge cuck.

Spy shots are out, odds are it won't be nearly as hardcore as the concept, more like a mini Africa twin, or a Tiger 800 with less power. 790 Adventure is the one to look out for.
