No. The engine is high compression and very developed. Modding it is basically a waste of money unless you're adding boost and even then it can't take much.

These cars you mod the exhaust for sound and do nothing else. If it's not enough power you buy something else.

C5 Corvette is lighter, highly modable, more reliable and gets better gas mileage.

There is no valve cover gasket, for example. IIRC, you need a new valve cover as they come with built-in gaskets.
Diff bushings go to shit almost immediately, balljoints need the whole spindle, older transmissions have easily worn synchros.

If I had a 350z, I would definitely try to do this to it if economically sound. I just can't wrap my head around why anyone would think that bulging ugly butt was an aesthetic design choice.
