Why are these things so difficult to find /o/? I have a hard on for the 1st gen RAV4 3-door, but I've never seen one up for sale on CL or eBay. Plenty of the 5-door ones though. I see them on the road every once in a while in my area, so I know they exist.
My only guess is that people must love them, so they're not selling them.

Vitaras are kinda cool, but probably even harder to find, let alone a 3-door. I love the Sidekick/Tracker too, but those are pieces of shit.

OP I was asking myself the same question, I want one of these too. However you may also consider an Isuzu Amigo/Rodeo Sport. Avoid the 4 cyl, but the V6 is a relatively good engine. I know they're a bit bigger but they're proper body on frame construction and they look a bit tougher. I dunno they're SIMILAR but not identical. Point is, there should be plenty of those to go around relative to the RAV 4s
