I finally watched some episodes of TGT. What the fuck happened to Top Gear? It's horrible. The script is just completely banal. Old Top Gear maintained a feel of authenticity even though it was scripted. TGT is just completely cartoonish and fake.
Also so much for the big budget. They didn't do anything even remotely close to the grand challenges they used to do in old Top Gear. They just waste money moving their studio around, as if I give as shit whether they are hosting their show from the Uk or Germany or wherever else.
Sorry to say but capitalist America failed to recreate even a resemblance to the old socialist BBC Top Gear that I used to love watching.

On a more positive note, I recommend watching the TV shows by Mark Evans (you can find them online if you dig hard enough). They are phenomenal petrol head stuff.
