Ford jags are pretty reliable from personal experience. I don't know about the tata motors jags. There really as reliable as bmw mercedes and audi it just comes from leyland memeing.

They're doing way better now and most complaints seem to be with the base infotainment system. If you upgrade to the 10 inch it seems to be much more reliable /newer architecture).
Their v6 and v8 engines are solid and they use the zf8 trans like everyone else.

The 2018 4 cylinder engines are brand new so idk about those yet, older ones were shit tier ford engines

The xe is fucking great, considered top of the class in handling/driving dynamics along with the cadillac ats, but the ats doesn't feel like a 40k+ car quality-wise.
