Why do so many retards think their car is worth 30%-50% more than market value, and why is it always BMW owners? Pic related, 325ci some boomer thinks is worth as much as a base M3.

It depends if it is Canadian dollars or American. If that photo is Canadian it makes the difference
>>17639444
That's still $9600 american, would you pay 10 grand for a 325ci?
>>17639467
>bmw
>ever
lol no
>those spics trying to sell their eg6 for about $10k because they added shitty mods
>>17639431
because they think sick mawds add value
>>17639472
Which is kind of my point, 12k for a shitty slow model BMW that doesn't even take into account the $2500 in repairs it will need in the first year.
>>17639431
Probably because that's how much money they still owe on the car, and now that parts have reached the end of their BMW designed service life he's trying to pawn it off on someone else and clear the debt.

2.5k in repairs needed on 70k mile car. Whatever you say pal.
If that's 10k US the dude is still asking 2x what the cars worth
Low miles. Looks to be in great shape. Arguably one of the last great BMW generations. You can't buy them new any more. The price is a bit high but not outrageous. Sounds like you're jealous you can't afford such a machine.
Because some fucking idiot who knows nothing but the manufacturer name will buy it.
My dad sold his old Mercedes C Class from 2012 after 4 years and 300,000km down the drain to some stupid fucking turk for 32k €.
He bought the car for 39,900€ in 2012.
From what my father told me, the turk even took a credit of like 25k just to afford it.
Why? Beats me. The engine was pretty run out, stuttering after being used to commute almost daily for roughly 120km a day.
But the turk didn't gave a fuck apparently. All he wanted was "MERCEDEZZZ LIKE THE COOL KIDS ON MY BLOCK" or whatever.
Fuck, tl:dr people are dumb.

You honestly think he intended to make the repayments and not just drive it for 3 months before it gets repo'd then move back to his own country?
>>17639467
i got an m3 with 87000 miles for 12.
only thing it needed was a new oil change.

It's no big secret that young turks favour BMW and Mercedes and are willing to ruin their future life just to buy one.
>Know car is worth ~6k
>Is in great shape, no immdiate need to sell
>Price it on CL for double b/c why not?
>A month or three goes by, you keep re-posting without lowering asking price
>A woman who has no idea that kbb values are a thing emails you
>She asks what the lowest you'll take is
>You say you're pretty firm on the price, but mention that you "wouldn't mind more space in the driveway" or some other lie.
>She offers 8k
>You counter 9,250
>Sell your car 9k - over 1.5x its kbb value.
>Laugh as she drives off.
Meanwhile OP is butt-flustered over the asking price of a CL ad made by some guy he'll nerve meet.
