Wew lads this engine mount bolt is not coming out what am I doing wrong?
>>17637486
Jack up the engine a bit so its weight isn't holding the bolt down
It looks free to me - you might just have to lift the engine out like that and then remove the mount arm itself

>>17637486
Why you taking the engine out?
>>17637590
my money's on timing belt, or something timing related.
judging by rusty pulley express beneath, car might've been sitting for a while and he's checking (or doing) the timing belt as insurance.
pic surprisingly related
>>17637555
get your brother under there and tell him to push on the oil pan
>>17637586
>rapid-pump
shit
>>17637486
>bolt is not coming out
which one, I see five
>>17637796
Why would it be shit?
>>17638682
Hard to pump up and lowers too quickly.
>>17638719
Not in the slightest, stop being a ham fisted noodle arm
>>17637627
>DOHC V
>barely any valley
what engine is this?
>>17637555
yeah don't take the mount out with no jack. you'll never be able to get it back in
>>17637627
>>17639003
Hyundai?
Use a piece of wood on the jack if you're lifting it up from the oil pan.
>>17637486
that silver piece on the chassis side is the through bolt. Jack it up as others said, remove the nut on the other side and pull it out
>>17639710
Mazda tho right?
>>17638719
the rapid pump comes with a longer lever
the shit high profile mini roller hydraulic jacks are shit, they always develop a downward creep and they have to be pumped arond 40 times just to raise the car to jackstand height

Get a warranty while you're at it, and never put your faith in harbor freight tools, they're fine for hand tools but anything beyond that and it will break guaranteed
>>17642142
You'd be surprised, that specific jack has been one of the rare HF products that's legitimately good. Obviously you should still use quality jack stands
>>17639003
Most 60° V engines look like that
>>17637555
Use leverage
