Daily WRX roast thread: "260 hp stock" "Much fast grippage AWD" Why is the WRX such a meme?
>t. Bus rider
And what car do you have, OP?
Great thread

Yea, its more like 225-230 hp at the wheels after you do the math. Subaru fanbois dont do math though. They just find a website with the highest HP numbers pulled out of an elephants ass.
I have a 2017 WRX base.
Ask me anything.

>meme
Is this the word you use when you can't use your imagination to think of reasons why something is bad?
>>17625711
That shirt is fucking ill
>>17625695
What is wrong with having 260 hp?
>>17625745
Nothing, 260 hp at the crank is great. Just cant confuse that shit with 260hp at the wheels
I have a 2015 WRX, Plenty fast enough of the highway, decent gas mileage and is more than capable to handle snow in the winter.

I have 13000 miles on my 17. With one Chicago winter on Blizzaks WS80s.
What is your winter setup?
>>17625757
Ahh, yes that is true
>>17625736
What is the highest stage you can get for that currently, and how many weeks do you intend to own the car before you get there?
28k on mine, Blizzaks do the trick in new england winters.
>>17625784
Idk the highest stage. I see a lot of stage 2 setups.
I'm running a stage 1 MAP 93 tune.
>>17625784
I'm not going past stage 1. It is my DD.
I will get lightweight 17x8 rims.
Maybe tgv egr deletes.
I have twin catch cans since around 4000miles.
I will get a bigger TMIC.
>>17625784
I've got a 15 with 3in turboback and intake. Running Cobbs 93 stage 2+intake map. Only had it like 3months before I I fucked with it. The stock setup isn't very nice with rev hang and how the throttle input isn't 1to1
It's a nice car, stuff rattles and the stock sound system isn't very good but it is fun as fuck to drive.

What kind of fine knock learn/feedback knock reading do you get on your APv3?
not enough fat chicks, vapes, flat brim hats, brotella oil, speeding tickets, hella horns, rolled fenders, and tinted head lights in this thread
got 16k miles on my '17. I kind of miss the boxer rumble :^( . Anyone here know how to make it sound better? Muffler delete did help quite a bit
>>17625776
Not >>17625765, but I have some Cooper S/T2s with studs. Threw them on pic related. Studs were probably unnecessary, but I live in Alaska, so winters can be long and icy.
>>17626071
I think someone makes UELH for morons like you who prefer less power and efficiency for muh box rumble.
>>17625736
Why didn't you get an STI?
Hard mode: don't mention HP or motor build

I'm 35, married. High mileage commuter(MPG is better). That's why my first mod was catch cans(longevity). Saving for a 3rd car, so I'd rather not spend an extra 8 grand for a car I must winter drive.
