The SR5 is literally the American version of the AE85, so go for it. Become IRL Itsuki. For some reason, SR5 and GT-S share the same chassis code, though they differ in the VIN. The SR5 is an "AE86" while the GT-S is an "AE88".

The SR5 had a slightly better engine than the AE85. 1.5 liter 3A-U with 83 hp in the AE85. SR5 got the technological wonder of the 1.6 liter 4AC with 90 hp.

The US also got an AE85 VIN for the DX Corolla.
