Are the 2020s and on the era of American cars
>Cadillac to go global
>Planning everything from s crossovers to a Bentley bentayga competitor
>Lucid motors may be purchased by Ford
>Tesla on course to be the largest luxury car maker in the US by next year
>Hennessy venom F5 - will be faster than the Chiron
>Lincoln seeing double digits growth quarterly, seen as a more prestigious brand than Audi in China
Global and China sales is good short term but not long term IMO. In order to compete, they have to follow European standards. Like pedestrian safety and emissions. This will lead to streamlining the lineup and cucking Americans. This is why the current Mustang is so fat and heavy.
China, while their market is basically a money printing machine, the only way to maximize profit is to make cars there because they have import taxes. And at the moment we don't, so it'll probably mean more outsourcing.
>Are the 2020s and on the era of American cars
No, but goddamn everyone around here drives Teslas, so there might be something there. We'll see if the Model 3 can corner what 10 years ago was the A4 and 325 market.
How bizarre would it be if Lincoln ended up selling millions in China? Nobody gives a fuck about them here in the States, although the Navigator could appeal to those too poor for a Range Rover.

There will be another financial crisis before 2020 and car manufacturers will cease investing in enthusiast themed cars. In the mid–late 2020s there will be an abundance of safe, boring cars, as manufacturers focus on cutting costs and focusing on economy. The small amount of driver-centric cars will be economically unavailable to 70% of the population and overall uninspiring. Towards the end of the decade enthusiast cars will begin to enter the market— half of which will be electric. There will be a small amount of light, driver focused automobiles but they will be sterile and created with reliability and safety in mind.

Fuck no!!
How autistic are you?
The rest of the world has been ahead of you for at least 30 years. Now the epa is dragging you kicking and screaming into the 21st century you think you have a chance to compete on the world stage!
Get the fuck outta here
amerifags, let's be real about it; Stop being delusional.
You can have a tiny piece of the cake of the low end section of the market, but you will never fucking be part of the mid-high end section outside of the us, im just being realistic about it.
