Hello fellas,
I'm looking to buy a car (first one)
Currently UK based but most of my driving is gonna be done around an eastern european shithole, probably with some offroad action as I'm shooting a documentary atm and that's why I'm getting a car in the first place, so I suppose 4wd would be nice to have
Probably more important however is fuel efficiency, as I am on a very tight budget
Any recs for around £1000?
bump
maybe a Subaru Impreza would fit the bill?

buying an impreza for £1000 is a terrible idea
>>17578444
Legacy, senpai.
>>17578466
too expensive?
>>17578468
what do you mean by that
what would be a better fit?

Subaru Legacy instead of the Impreza. Though honestly your situation isn't a big deal and you could get whatever you want/is cheapest. Getting some new fancy car isn't all that recommended for your first, some basic bitch Corolla is generally advised as a first car but it's up to you.

buying an impreza for under £8k probably means it has been horribly molested

is this one shit?

like i said, im not looking for anything "fancy" or whatever, im looking for something that will get the job done that wont cost me an arm and a leg and wont get me stuck in a bit of mud
Worry less about how much the car is and more how much insurance will be. Any old £1000 Subaru will be thousands to insure as your first car.
