do mx5 drivers in Japan get as much unwarranted shit from others as they do in the USA?
>>17574607
no because there are girlier cars in there.
>>17574607
"""unwarranted"""
>>17574607
hell for japan it's a masculine as they have.
when i was there for work i went to a bar a few times, couldn't tell the men from women, was a very surreal experience.
>>17574607
miatas are my waifu
>>17574644
Did you enjoy traps?
>>17574651
no, i ended up drinking my shitty beer and going back to the hotel room.
managed to hook up with a japanese cutie, but bars were a scary place.
>>17574607
no. The Japanese generally aren't judgmental when it comes to others hobbies. It's a cultural thing that Japanese people are expected to find something they like and put a lot of effort into it. If liking miatas is your thing most would probably support it.
I'm not trying to sound like some Japan loving weeb but having been there quite a few times myself I can tell that overall Japanese people are much more polite and tend to keep to themselves. They might think your car is dumb but as a community the Japanese tend to be less confrontational. I'm sure there is still internet shit talking to a degree but I don't think the Japanese people focus so much on what others are doing and just try to enjoy things in their own way. Why do you think you see so many crazy builds over there? People aren't afraid of being ridiculed and they try ridiculous shit.

>but bars were a scary place.
How so, too many girly guys trying to get into your pants? That's not a negative.
>>17574644
>couldn't tell the men from women
Girls with short hair seem so warm and tender.<3
>>17574671
>it came from /b : the post
yea i'm not gay bro
>>17574675
>not gay bro
What a faggot.
>>17574674
actually into short hair, it was the facial structure, and how the men wear their hair. i eventually learned how to tell for the most part.
>>17574690
alright man, keep telling yourself that.
Do Miatas actually get shit from anyone other than fratbros and rednecks? I drove an NA for three years in the northeast and only got "cool car." Kids waved, guys said it looked like fun, girls like it. Two people on my street bought them (NB and NC) after I got mine and I met a bunch of younger NA drivers who were into the track scene.
I literally never heard anything bad from anyone. Last girlfriend was angry I sold it and got a Mustang because she saw that as a hillbillymobile.

>year of our lord 1980 + (74/2)
>not into traps
What a huge fucking faggot.
>>17574721
>Do Miatas actually get shit from anyone other than fratbros and rednecks?
yes.
other ricers with complexes, eurocarfags, and so on.
The "girly car" meme perpetuates itself. Not calling it a M I A T A would be a great start. Mazda dropped the name with the NC, and yet people still keep calling it that.
>>17574781
>eurocarfags
I don't buy it. I met some other Miata drivers through a group of college age guys who were into BMWs and Audis. Sold my NA to a dude who was driving a 323i.
>>17574781
>>17574721
i know a lot of guys who make fun of it, but they know their fun to drive.
kinda like fat chicks. the experience is good most the time, but your friends are still going to make fun of you.
>>17574781
I feel like you are easy to poke fun at
Moved to the PNW and bought an NA8.
I've only received mires.
Miata a best.
