Thinking about joining the two-wheeler club? Must enjoy zipping from A to B and ridin' free.

Just don't get a dogshit harley
>tfw too poor to afford a bike, MSF course, AND gear
>have to wait 2 months until I can save the money

Isn't gear required for the MSF course?

The one in my city just says "long sleeve shirt, long pants, and over-the-ankle boots"
>>17574958
Yeah, everything is pretty much optional where I took it. Not like you get above 20 anyways.

I still have to save up ~$600 for gear on top of the ~$300 for the MSF course, and that's not counting the cost of the bike
>tfw realistically might not be able to ride until next spring

Feels bad man. Just try not to fuck up when you do take it. I failed the skills test first time around. Forgot to use the rear brake on the emergency stop test.

My dad always scared me into doing that on bicycles when I was a kid because he said that if you do an abrupt stop with the front brake you could accidentally fly forward
>mfw that actually happened to my cousin, but 20 years later

The only suggestions I can tell people considering to becoming a rider is to get your license early even if you plan to rider a year later. Your insurance rates will be much lower by the time you are actually riding.
