Is it a good idea to buy a 2010 C300 with 95k miles for 8k? Or will maintenance kill me and it fails prematurely?
Also it's one owner.
If you really want to, yeah.
Nothing wrong with buying the car you so desire.

I wouldn't buy it personally but if you like it go for it

Those are generally solid cars, reliable engines, reliable chassis, maintenance will be more expensive than a Nissan, but you're not looking at BMW broke definitely.

2007 Benz owner chiming in
Do yourself a favor and invest in a third party warranty. Shit's bound to break eventually.
My conductor plate shit the bed and the whole valve body assembly + labor and installation at the dealer ran me (or rather the warranty) $1800. Few more repairs I got in mind for them the warranty is practically paid itself.

Is it automatic or manual? If automatic don't bother and save for a c350.

The 'rents have this exact model with 80k miles on it. Its been solid afaik. They completely ignore the recommended service messages in the instrument cluster but I k ow my dad does stay on top of general maintenance.
It feels like a solid car to drive. Definitely feels like a bank vault, like Mercedes made a real effort to go back to basics with it. However there's still some nitpicks. The coating on the plastic surfaces inside are all starting to peel off, for instance.

Ever wonder why its so cheap?
Because its out of warranty
Get ready tp pay more for parts than the car is worth

In general, it's a bit 'tarded to buy any luxobarge that's getting old. All that power stuff? This is about the time that all starts breaking. Power seats, power windows, power dildos, it all needs to be diagnosed and replaced around this time.
Do they still put those Rube Goldberg climate control systems in those Mercs? I guarantee you that if it isn't already broken, it soon will be. And you may try to get it fixed, but I guarantee you will have intermittent problems with it the moment it breaks onward. It'll never work right again.
The car has probably gotten all its powertrain maintenance but if anything there breaks, you're talking $$$$$$ to fix it.

I mean they're okay cars, but in the long term you're better off getting a 2010 V6 Accord
