I just don't get it. why the fuck do owners of pic related think they can get 5-6k for their stock truck with nearly 300k miles on it and very "meh" overall condition. I've even seen ratty 80s models where the owner wants 4k for it, and the prices on mid 2000 models are fucking absurd. Am I missing something?

Like anon said above they're bullet proof, they can reach 500k with regular maintenance and have been known to easily go farther.
