At traffic lights in Germany, they go yellow before they go green. I slowly start rolling to reduce wear.
Same as above with most intersections where I have to yield.

Let the clutch out really slowly until the bite point, then hold it there for a second and let it the rest of the way out slowly.

That would be dumb though, you won't get anywhere any time soon without pressing the gas and you'd be slipping the clutch way more than is necessary.
