This is the underside of the battery tray, located in the D/F bumper of a dodge journey.

Excessive vibrations caused the battery hold down to come loose, spilling acid out of the vent holes and knocking it around the battery had to be replaced.


One of the many poor designs that plague their entire line. They relocated the battery in newer models but kept the chassis the same so there's still that vibration affecting something else.
