Rotary or not, is there any chance of a new performance car from Mazda?
I would say there's a chance the Miata Money will pile up enough for an investment
Only in a hybrid system because wankel emissions can't compete, and in a hybrid it defeats the point of a wankel.
>tfw no Mazda rotary motorcycle ever even though going being light, reving to 12k rpm and having no torque is exactly a key feature of motorcycles

Suzuki made a rotary motorcycle my dude

Yeah, but it's not a Mazda, also the sausage can instruments look absolutely ridiculous.

>put a performance engine in a Miata RF
>instant performance car
I don't really get why they insist on only offering that little 155HP lawnmower engine in what is otherwise a fantastic car
>>17534721
Because the 2.5 would make the car pigfat disgusting.
>>17534721
because a good driver doesnt need more than 155hp to have fun to throw the car around.
Not saying high horsepower cars aren't fun but 155hp is enough for the miata and its reasonable esp coming from the factory. 200hp is probably perfect tho.

It's not too hard to get it up to 200hp. CAI, 4-1 header, cams, ECU flash. From there, a midpipe and exhaust give you another 10 or so, but then you've pretty much tapped out the potential of the engine.
rotary miata and mazda should sell the 1.5l miata to the usdm so poorfags car finally afford a car they want.
