People complain about the GT86 having no torque, but it has more torque per bhp than an original NSX had. No one ever complained about the power or torque figures in an NSX.
So basically is all the whining about the GT86's lack of power and torque pure garbage?
I'm guessing people who complain about its speed are just used to faster cars. They have something to compare it to. So compared to those cars it's slow. For someone like me who's only driven shitboxes it would be quite the step up in speed.

Maybe 30%. The majority of people who complain about the gt86 are just bus riders

Power per torque isn't a good metric to compare how cars drive. Especially if you're talking about peak numbers. But yes most of the 86 hate is from benchracers
Power per torque just means where in the rev range the engine is making most of its power. Doesn't say anything about whether it has "enough" of either.
