my airbag light is stuck on, won't pass inspection, took it to the dealership before and had a receipt from them saying it was OK but I have lost it
there are no codes being thrown out or anything because of it
the inspector shouldn't be able to tell if I just remove the bulb from the dash, right?

Go get a copy of their computer sales receipt printed out or photocopied from them along with their business card stapled to it.
