Clarion RG9451 might be what you're looking for.
Also look into Jensen Heavy Duty head units. They're less frilly because they're meant for top down offroad vehicles that get muddy inside and out.

Pioneer deh 7800/8800. All of the functionality and the most minimal bullshit head unit I've found, also the best volume knob, those Kenwood excelon decks are garbage.

I really want this head unit, but the lack of features is what's keeping me from buying it. My current head unit has the ability to turn my subwoofer up and down, which I use often. I'm able to adjust the fade with my current head unit, which I need to keep only the front speakers on. That, plus this head unit doesn't have a USB port on the front, which I need to charge my phone on long trips and stuff since my cigarette lighter is so close to the steering wheel and my legs.
