Calling all /o/ mechanics. Are any of you dealership scum buttmad about EVs?
No more upcharging on maintenance because Betty and Bob traded in their Mcsuburban for the latest EV car. No more oil changes, exhaust component is completely removed, gaskets, timing belts, serp. Belts etc will no longer need to be done.
How can you compete once even say a 1/3 of the drivers jump to EVs. Seems like manufacturers will push it off to the point of putting 2cyl. Motors with fat turbos in their cars for dem. MPGS.
Normies don't care about the hobby nor do most manufacturers.
pretty sure most mechanics don't care about "the hobby" either, it's just their job, typically they were teenagers that were into cars and thought it would be a good idea to become a mechanic and then they get sick of it and it becomes a chore
