How unreliable are the e90 bmws /o/?
I currently have a 2002 audi TT quattro for over a year and i want to trade it for a 2006 bmw 330i
The audi has been suprisingly reliable but ive gotten bored of it and i want a sedan so im interested in this bmw but i dont want it to break as soon as i get it and cost a fortune to repair
There's a few gaskets that like to leak and the water pump tends to shit itself randomly between 20k and 100k intervals.
And it's expensive to replace.
Aside from that, the drivetrain is solid

They're the most reliable late model BMWs you can buy, no joke

It is true cuz of my mom's 2006 330i being bulletproof. Just oil change. That's it.

this
i still sort of own an 08 328xi its pretty well behaved although i think the transmission is going out
i recommend getting RWD and manual for maximum reliable
My friend is a BMW mechanic and told me to stay away from the E90 330 specifically. Something about valvetrain components bending.

That's horseshit

It's that iteration of straight six, it's a wonderful engine honestly, my 530i has no problems at 95k
