Why are the s197's not a superior option?
>>17495427
>305 hp
Because there is a superior S197 for 17k
>>17495427

>>17495437
Show me one for 17k with decent mileage
>>17495438
Post ur car faggot pussy
>>17495427
To what? They're good cars for the money. That's an awfully done example though.
>>17495444
Who gives a shit about interior like really. And have you ever driven one before?

Not providing vin. Bet it's been wrecked
>>17495451
interior is what youre going to be putting up with more than anything
some of us dont like being surrounded by shit (then again thats what this entire car is)
and yes I have
>>17495427
>goes over 70mph
>fake hood scoop flies of and cracks the windshield
>your quarter window louvers also fly off
>you can't see so you stop on the side of the road
>the tack on chin on the bumper gets caught on the dirt and gets ripped off
>pops your tires
>the car behind you has been struck by one of your louvers
>he gets out and kicks your ass
>cry
>go to American Muscle to write bad reviews on the parts
Buying a boomermobile with solid rear axle and explosive driveshaft.
Only buy this shit if you actually like the attention of overweighted balding men at the gas station because they will always look at your car.
>>17495501
I'm sick of >hurr rear axle whenever the Mustang is brought up. Learn a little about suspensions beyond top gear.
>>17495427
Don't make the V6 mistake.
I made the mistake, the numbers sound great on paper, but when you drive it, it's completely different. The power is "fine", but it sure as hell isn't enough.
It is worth the extra few grand for a V8, or of you're financing, which lets face it you probably are, you can afford the $30 extra bi-weekly. If you can't, you shouldn't be financing anyway.
Don't make the same mistake I made. Buy a V8
>>17495512
I know suspensions and it's shit.
>>17495557
I too know suspensions and it's not shit.
>>17495534
V6'er here and I made the same mistake.
Spent 20000 on a '14 with 8000 miles.
Kills me. Now I just want to sell it and get a V8.
>Tfw seeing a V8 with 50k miles for $16500
Fuck. I come close and closer to buying it.
>>17495427
I wanted one but they're hard to find with low mileage, most have 100k+. Wanted one with <75k on it. Ended up getting this instead, only 59k miles for 15k.
>>17495557
Wow, your awesome knowledge of suspension convinced me that a four link with a panhard bar is exactly the same as leaf springs, thanks anon.
>>17495616
hey look, it's the poor man's gt-r
>>17495616
The nigress attractor
>>17495637
from my experience black people would much prefer the mustang, especially if it has the chrome wheels.
>>17495657

>pontiac gto

>>17495427
I'm getting rid of my 2006 Mustang GT this month. They're made like complete shit. Yes, the exhaust sounds nice (I have long tubes, shorty mid pipe, Borla Stinger catback) but the car handles like total shit, the interior is made of the shittiest plastic ever that creaks like a mother fucker in the summer and winter, and they have an awful reputation, especially here in the Northeast. They're a money pit, just get a 5.0 for more money.
>>17495482
this.
>>17495685
You're kind of making me glad I didn't get one
>money pit
I would imagine they are relatively cheap to maintain, how bad was it?
>>17495427
>305 HP
>"superior option"
>>17495685
>car handles like shit
Bread on hood.
>>17495427
There are better cars you can get for 15k but i like the style amd yeah ot sounds good
>>17495590
This guy here.
Pic related
>>17495427
Man I thought these were so cool when they debuted but god damn they look like shit these days
>>17495740
>but god damn they look like shit these days
because people feel the need to cover them with AM plastic shit
>>17495681
Fucking this and any 4th gen f-body will blow them out of the water
>>17495964
Yeah but they look ugly as hell
>>17496237
>Implying the mustang looks any better
>>17495657
You mean niggers, fixed that for you.
>>17495737
YAY OR NAY!
>10-15k
just save up and buy a newer one
>>17495427
kinda meh styling
mustangs do tend to have a nice exhaust note i agree
>>17495671
ay yo mane some1 talkin bout day nissan?
>>17495685
Dude, your model was a huge step up from the previous one. I have a 2004 Mustang GT and it's basically Ukrainian-tier quality. The 2005+ models were a big improvement.
>>17495427
>305 hp
how does it feel to have similar hp to a family car?
>>17496603
you need to do it
>>17495427
It's 300hp, the V6 2011 Mustang and onwards is the one with 305hp.
>>17495616
>stitch welded chassis
Good buy
>>17495427
Because most American cars are horrible to drive
>>17495427
you forgot the weight boi
>3v
>>17496849
Doesn't mean it's still shit. I'm sorry your car is somehow worse than that but doesn't change the fact that mustangs have always had and continue to offer crappy ford-tier interiors.
>>17495427
>305 hp
>>17495427
>300hp
The F-body did that in '98, is lighter, and isn't horrible new-retro styling.
It's also faster.
>>17500210
T. D-powered Honda owner
The LS1 F-body is objectively superior.
>>17500246
>>17500316
And you get the mix-n-match parts capability of the ls family engines.
>>17500316
>>17500385
>>17500246
Both are pretty ok
>>17500291
Would gladly take the honda over any ford rattlebox
>300 hp

>>17495427
Well at least its not a 2 valve I guess. But S197s with the 4.6 are objectively lame, with that gen, its Coyote or bust. For $10-15K you can get some F-Bodies or even some C5s that would shit on inferiorstangs.
that interior tho
>>17495427
Because you can get an LS2 GTO with IRS and 400 horsepower for the same price.
>>17501992
Only in sheet shape though
You should be able to find a very nice one of these for under 12k. Under 9k with 100k miles on it even
>>17495427
Cause the corvette exists.
>>17502011
I actually like the layout and the gauges are easy to read. The seats are comfortable, if a bit lacking in lateral support. Shame the materials weren't any better
>>17502020
and you'll look like a cobalt
>>17498428
We'll fuck. I may do it then.
