Looking to feed my need for an ae86 with something cheaper, Celica xx a good choice ? Live in Aus btw

Get an AW11. It's pretty much a backwards 86.

>with something cheaper
That thing would cost more than a new car to keep running thanks to the marvel of german "engineering"
Nissan gazelle, no more than 3k

I never even knew these existed. Thanks dude going to have a look at them

Don't drive an AE86 if you do. Gonna get sad about the weight difference and engine.
Closest thing to an AE86 is either an NA Miata for general FR feel or an FX16 or AW11 for their 4AGEs. Maybe an AE92, though that is a symbol of Toyota's descent into FF madness.
82-85 Celica
Loved mine lol

That's a Supra, dickhead.

>Australia
>Celica xx
We call that a supra cunt!
And they're absolutely plagued with issues.
Great cars however if you're handy with a spanner and can put in a 7m-g(t)e + new head gasket.

Celica XX is Japanese name for the second gen Celica supra, which the lster is in the US market. Senpai.

The only correct choice, the lightest spec xA60 celica is lighter than the heaviest spec AE86 plus you get the bonus of IRS.
If you get bored with the power 3SG(T)E or 5SFE engines are cheap, plentiful and easily swapped.
Carina GT-R, unless your a pleb.

Great choice sheep shagger but he said AUS.

The Supra is based on the Celica.
It's unironically a Celica with a bodykit.
The pic OP posted is a Supra.
The pic you posted is not a Supra (notice how it has no big flares).
>>17481484
It has a completely different extended front chassis you fucken drongo, that pic is a Supra.
Don't talk about what you don't know about.

>Celica XX
>cheaper
It's like 15k AUD to even think about getting one, anon.
The Celica Supra on the other hand is what you could get for cheap. Though the AUDM ones do come with a single cam 5M-E.
:^)

>this actually exists
fucking fuck me sideways. A Carina II was the first car i ever drove when i was 13, my dad got it for literally a penny - the owner of a used car lot wanted to give it to him but laws stated money had to be transferred.
